The parish of Polesworth is situated in North Warwickshire and consists of the villages of Birchmoor, Polesworth and Warton.

Polesworth Parish Council comprises of 11 councillors, representing each of the three villages in the parish. The Council meets once a month (usually on the first Wednesday), with the exception of August, when the Council is in recess. Members of the public may attend any Council meeting.

The Council owns several public amenities in the parish, including recreation grounds in each village and The Tithe Barn Resource Centre.

The Parish Council makes a commitment to improve the quality of life in the Parish by:

• Protecting, conserving and improving the local environment.
• Promoting the interests of the area's economy.
• Assisting and promoting the development of local voluntary groups.
