About Us
Situated in the centre of the village of Polesworth, not far from the A5 and M42 in rural North Warwickshire, the Tithe Barn provides an atmospheric and distinctive setting for almost any kind of activity. A Grade II listed building, the Tithe Barn is used for a wide variety of activities, ranging from community and business functions, to meetings, and parties. Owned and operated by Polesworth Parish Council, the Tithe Barn is a renovated 17th Century, Grade II listed building. Opened in July, 1995, the facility is staffed by volunteers, including the Centre Manager, Parish Councillor Richard Meredith.
Retaining its original beamed ceilings and stone floors, the Tithe Barn contains a function room and kitchen, and provides a wide range of extra facilities. Disabled access to the building is via a ramped entrance and toilets for both the able bodied and disabled are provided. The Hall Court complex, in which the building is situated, offers ample free parking. The Tithe Barn has received several awards, including first prize in Warwickshire Rural Community Council's 1997 Village Ventures Competition. |
